Ok, I have the same problem. I have been trying to figure out why I can't change my custom animation again. I have done everything up to re-building the HD. I figured it out today and found this thread. When I am in 1.03 I can log on through Hyperterminal (XP) and get the bash. When I have 2.0b11, I can get the bash. Once I install hijack, I can't get anything. I was able to upload animations with hijack 242, but nothing since 247. What could be the deal. Also when upgrading hijack, since jEmplode can't autodetect it for some reason, I get error 16 using Tony's Logo Editor, but cycling the power I can upload a new version of hijack fine. Here is a serial dump from boot:

After this point, I can do nothing. Hitting q and enter, nothing happens. I can go down to no hijack for file transfers, but no FTP with hijack, and I can't get Tony's Risky Tux off my Empeg! Please help me!!!!
