I phased that poorly. I meant to ask when you would be able to start looking at the units. Not a completion date. I'm just curious if it's going to be something you could start on relatively quickly or if it would take you 2 months to even begin to look at it. Does that clarify my question a bit?

Thanks!

The amount of time it takes to do repair work I won't estimate: I simply proceed carefully to do the repair properly and tot up the time. I appreciate that there is the risk that this could turn into a huge bill - but I don't allow this to happen, by various means. The idea is to get the unit repaired, not bankrupt the owner.

As to when I can look at the unit: I originally said that I would be able to start work again at the start of April. For various reasons (some of which will come clear in the next month or so) this has been delayed. I have all the repairs I was working on in January here with me with all my spares and tools, and "sometime soon" I will post here to let people know what's happening.

So have a little more patience, don't give up hope and - above all - don't even think about binning your beastie: I havn't been beaten by one of these yet
