It's been happening for awhile so Hijack version number won't help but I have been using the Jemplode animation editor to load up my own small animatioons.
I don't think it's dangerous in amy way but all the same is strange. What happening is when my animation is playing out sometimes towards the end of it the player boot screen interweaves through it flashing in/out but this weirdness comes & goes w/same animation. The animations aren't large ones, but happens w/both large (60 frame) animations as well as small (30 frames).
Again I don't what it is and I don't think it's all that important but thought I'd mention it.

Known issue in Hijack due to delay added to initial startup. Will be fixed in a later release. In the meantime, shorten the animation significantly to prevent the problem.

Ahhh OK I had read some on a delay problem but was thinking it was the reason for my animation having a garbled screen right befor the Hijack version splash and the animation begins.

The current v269 Hijack now uses the same startup delay as a non-Hijacked player would use, except that the first frame of the animation is delayed by (1/animationrate). So if "n" frames was the max animation size without Hijack, then it is now "n-1" frames.

I just started playing with boot logos today, and I saw something like you said. After the logo is uploaded, the player reboots, the boot animation runs, but towards the end, the POST and animation flicker back and forth for a few frames. This only happened once I uploaded a new boot logo. If I unplugged the empeg and then powered it back up, the flickering is gone and everything works as normal. I am not worried as rebooting after the upload fixes this for me.
