Just curious to know if anyone else has had trouble connecting to CDDB. I haven't been able to get through since yesterday (Thursday). I'm wondering if it's down, or if my computer is tripping out all of a sudden.

it could be your software that is pointing to CDDB, remember that CDDB sold out and started charging the developers to use CDDB and have been terminating connection rights to those developers who didn't pay up.
That is why FreeDB exists.

Well, for a day or so I kept getting error messages trying to connect through EAC, which had worked fine previously. It working again now. Might have been a problem on my end. Thanks everyone for your help.

Nope. It's a separate service with all new data that uses the original CDDB protocol, modified somewhat.

BTW, the shift key is your friend, as is entering all of the appropriate letters.

I was having problems myself last night trying to connect to Feedb through Audiograbber. I gave up after an hour but it has been working fine today.

freedb was flaking out yesterday, and this morning (US CST) but is now working grea.t
