I'm trying to access someone's FTP site using CuteFTP. What does this error message mean?

This is after the login has successfully completed:

try flashfxp, i always have trouble with cute.. i cant even ftp into my empeg with hijacks kernal with cute.. i dunno i used to swear by cuteftp.. till i fentured off
