I just recieved my new empeg in the mail today. I am trying to load my music on it but it is taking a long time because it will only let me add one song to a playlist at a time. Is there a way that i can be able to add more than one song to a playlist at a time? I've looked through the faq and the emplode help but it doesn't say anything about it.

I dragged 5900 songs from Windows Explorer in one shot. What's the problem with doing that? If all your songs are sitting in meaningful sub-folders you'll already have your initial playlists created as well (folders become playlists). Just make sure all your songs are properly tagged (including track #) before moving them over. This will give you the best results.

I guess this should be a FAQ entry. I'll get one put together.

It should be in the FAQ, I was browsing/navigating all over the place until i realised i could drag and drop.

Very true. The playlists on my Empeg are an exact copy of my "music" HD in my PC. That way it's easier for me to add files to both my Empeg and my PC and keep the databases exactly synchronised.
I'll continue going about it that way until Roger releases that utility he's been working on in his copious free time that should make synchronising with existing PC music databases (or directory trees if you like) way more easy.
