Could someone with one of the CD-SR80 Pioneer remotes measure the dimensions of the remote when installed with the holder on the steering wheel? I'm seriously thinking on picking one of these up but i wanna make sure it will fit on my wheel where i wanna put it. I found the specs of the actual remote here (35wx65hx22d (MM)), but they don't list the measurements with the holder attached.

You could take a screen shot of the thing from Crutchfield and paste it into Corel Draw and scale it so that the non-holder part fits those dimensions, then see how big the remainder is...

Assuming the original figures were accurate, it looks like an additional 15mm in width and 7-10mm in height are added by the base. Not sure about depth, unfortunately.

Psh... that would actually take effort on my part, and the ability to think of abstract ideas....

okay okay... it looks like the holder adds another 14mm or so to the width, minus the amount that the holder is cut into the wheel.

I attached a pic... it should be actual sizeish... at least it is on my monitor =].

I measured it with a tape measure. Once it's mounted it's hard to determine exactly where the apex of the wheel is but I measure that it sticks out 46mm at it's widest point.
