Maybe the admin can create a temporary forum for all comments of wants/needs/statements/complaints concerning SonicBlue ordering. There seems to be numerous threads that are overwhelm the other topics...

How about people just post to the threads that are already here instead of starting new ones for every little thing?

Besides, this ordering stuff is only going to last a few more days. And then we can get back to a more orderly (at least relevant) General forum.

Because new posters would know to read your post, but they might see a ``Complaint/Waiting'' forum.

Uh... Somehow I don't think that would be terribly productive. Reasons:

1) No one from the ordering/shipping center of SonicBlue would ever see it, so it wouldn't do any good.

2) As it stands right now, the important people have already been notified that their ordering/shipping process is in dire need of an overhaul.

3) There's no sense in needlessly increasing the BBS traffic just so people can gripe.

4) By the end of next week, it's going to be a completely moot point anyway.

It would be more of a "support group" area of the forum.

Are their any plans on moderating a bit more? Like moving tech questions to the Technical section and Install questions too? Or does that stuff usually sort itself out?

I don't think off-topic or other-forum posts have ever been much of an issue on this BBS. We've generally been lenient about this and I don't see a need to turn the BBS into a police state in that respect.

Besides, it's a lot of work to do that.

Since being given admin privileges, I've only done a couple specific things, like locking a cross-posted thread, but I try to keep this stuff as light as possible since the clientele of the BBS is so good.

Yeah, I guess that was my point. Usually a polite "Here is the answser to your question, but you may get more responses if you post in the specific forum" seems to work pretty well. I was hoping that wouldn't change unless absolutly necessary.
