A question to people who've had their Empeg players recently shipped...

What kind of confirmation e-mails did you receive? I only received the initial order confirmation e-mail, which required no action on my part (like an address confirmation). Is this bad?

I got three emails from them:

27 Dec 2001 06:09:20 - SONICblue Order Confirmation (this was *right* after I placed my order)
28 Dec 2001 23:34:47 - SONICblue Order status (same info as the confirmation)

then the holy grail:

3 Jan 2002 17:59:48 - SONICblue Shipping Notification (this included my tracking number.)

I never received the SONICBlue Order status e-mail

Do you know if the web site is updated before/same/after the email is sent?

Now I'll need yet another widow to hit re-load in -- my web-based email

I too have been sitting here hitting refresh on this BBS and on my order status every few minurtes for two days . . . Unfortunately, I can't check my home e-mail from work.

I ordered the morning of the 28th, and my order status has not changed from "Pending Shipment".

I'm just glad I already have a player, but I really want that second one.
