Just got off a phone call to my friendly Rio customer support rep - it looks like they're hearing word that the warehouse might still be in the warehouse tomorrow trying to finish the last of the backlogged orders. Apparently this is common for them to do in times of high demand.

Bring it on, I say. Every one that ships gets closer to us poor Dec. 28th-er folks :)

I also spoke to a rep (named Mark) today. He didn't seem to know any more than what I can find out on-line. He said to keep checking until tomorrow afternoon. At least I know that there are no problems with my order. Did the person you spoke to have any idea whether you should actually expect to get your order?

I was told the same thing - "if you don't get a shipping confirmation by tomorrow evening, consider things grim".
