Okay, I can find a billion links to the page with the datasheet, (seriously, I counted
them ) and that's great. But the datasheet is incomplete. It makes
reference to a SAA7705H User Manual that contains the detailed information
about the various registers in the DSP available through I2C. These are where all
the control of the EQ, etc. come from. I can pick up pieces of information from the
empeg-kernel but I really need the User Manual for what I'm doing.

Does anyone know where one can obtain the User Manual? I was hoping I could
just download a PDF file. Sigh. Maybe I'll actually have to talk to a real
human.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Brett

A friend of mine works for philips, I've already mailed him. Wouldn't hold my breath though, I recall Hugo mentioning that they had to sign a NDA for using the DSP, so getting this info could become a problem.

Yes, we had to sign an NDA. That and we could only get a paper copy of the manual (no PDF!) so I have to photocopy 2 more to have enough around the office....

Doh! Guess I'll have to do it the hard way... once I figure out
just what parameters I do want to play with.

Maybe I'll check and see if they'll talk to individuals about
signing NDA... else NAI Labs may just have to sign one.
