I know that VR is up in the air with the EOL announcement and all that. But out of curiosity, how were you guys going to implement VR? Does my empeg come with a mike?
Thanks,
~Yogi.

Greetings!

Not a mic, but the sled has a microphone input on it.

Voice Recognition is one feature I'll pass on.. just like Bill Gates once hyped up really big and then quietly dropped it again, it's not as good as it first sounds. I think there would be too much Interference from/to human-to-human (or .mp3 to humans) communications.

But others here seem to want it, so maybe it ain't all that bad.

I might someday hook up a mic just to have the player auto-adjust volume in response to ambient noise levels in the vehicle. Sort of a speed-sensitive volume control, except better.

The work you've accomplished so far is simply wonderful. Just when I think that it can't be topped, a new one arrives. I thank you for each and every one of the new kernals. Now, if you could pull off the auto-adjust volume in response to ambient noise levels, I would have to raise my praise to none other than "I am not worthy" status.

Let me in line to praise the good work Mlord. As well as the suggestion of the sound controled via the mic and background noise(I had an Alpine 7525 that did this), I would like to suggest having a pink noise track and being to auto adjust the EQ to be perfect.

Ooops! I guess I ought to be careful with dreaming aloud, at this point I really do not want to discourage others from starting nice projects like this, just because they heard me dreaming and figure I'll beat them to it.

Remember folks, I'm taking the next 5 weeks off.. and I expect to see some impressive (and some not as impressive but still hice) hacks from others when I get back!

Cheers!
