Hi, I`ve got a few questions.

I ordered the tunermodule for my mkII a few days ago and now I want to see a few pictures of it. Does anyone have a few pics from the tuner in action?
how does the visauals work with the rds and radiotext-functions?
how do I connect it with my mk2?
does the tuner works with 2.0b3? I heard that users have problems with it but I don't know if this is a general problem.

how do I connect it with my mk2?
you connect it to the docking-sled via the cable of the sled. another cable comes with the tuner to be able to mount the tuner somewhere else (it's just longer)
if you have a sony stalk or a similar device which gives the correct signals you can connect it to the tuner via the3,5mm jack.

does the tuner works with 2.0b3? I heard that users have problems with it but I don't know if this is a general problem.
it works fine in most cases. don't know where it doesn't work at all.

but there is another question. i recieved a rio-remote, too, but my mark2 is an empeg. the remote doesn't work, what can i do now?

Either remote should work with any player (Mk1, Mk2, Mk2a(RioCar)). Some Things to check:
1) Take the red plastic tab out of the remote to activate the battery.
2) Make sure you're running 1.03 or higher.
3) Test the new remote. You'll have to have some other device that can read IR, like a learning remote control, handheld PC with Remote control Software, or even a video camera that can pick up near-IR (you'd be surprised how many video cameras can see IR); even Radio Shack used to carry a 1/2 business card-sized IR tester. When you hit it with IR, you can see little red dots on it.
3) Test your Mk2's IR reciever with your old remote.

If you can't verify that your new remote works, try it with a new battery (CR2025 or compatible), then email support@empeg.com, as they're the only people that can replace it for you from stock.

Ok, I found it.
I configures the player with the emplode and hit the option to disable the kenwood remote and then, everything works fine for me.

I also installed the tuner module and I'm very glad that it works fine with the 2.0b3.
the visuals act fast but the radiotext scrolls not so smooth as with mp3s. But I'm very glad over all.

But there is another question. I want to buy a sony-stick-remote. Can I control the mp3 playback as well as the tuner?
