Hi, everyone who still comes here smile Been a while...

I find myself looking for some kind soul who ideally lives in California and might be persuaded to forward a couple of items I can't buy anywhere else on to me.

Basically it's some digital video transmitters and cameras for drone use, which have been discontinued ny DJI, but are still just about available in the US. Prblem is that the companies selling them won't ship outside the country...

Any takers? smile

If you do not receive a US member response, are they also sold in Canada?

Unfortunately I can't find a supplier with the things in stock after a lot of looking.

It's the DJI Ocusync Air camera and transmitter for their FPV Goggles RE system. They discontinued it in favour of the new FPV Goggles V1/V2 system, which is very nice, but also quite expensive and not ideal for the purposes I'm using the current one for.

The supply of transmitters, and even more, cameras, seems to have dried up entirely in Europe, and/or become very very expensive. The last time I bought a complete Air set it cost me about 150 quid, however the last time I found anyone with just the transmitter on its own for sale they wanted something like 175 pounds for it plus shipping and so on. The cameras are virtually impossible to lay hands on.

I've got two sets, and ideally I wanted a couple more, but outside north america you can't find them at all as far as I can see. They're still in stock in a few places in the US, but I haven't seen any in Canada yet although I'm still looking.

Hmm...

I actually found them, allegedly in stock, in Canada.

The issue is then how I could get them from Canada to the UK for the lowest total cost, of course smile

Any fellow canadians here have a Visions Electronics store next door?

Hmm. Following your link I see them on Amazon US too, but for some reason I couldn't find them from here with a search smile How strange.

The trick, of course, is working out the lowest cost method to get them from the US/Canada to the UK now...

Looks like Visions has only one in stock too, as if I try ordering more than that they tell me there are items in my basket that are unavailable...

So amazon in the US would be the ideal source, I guess. Just need an American!

smile

Edit: There's also some 'open box' ones available from Walmart, apparently.
