this may be resolved already (what is latest version of emplode? and does it only connect to specific versions of empeg software?) or maybe it's just my system...

but today i was really thrown for a loop when my emplode's little "status meter" moved across toward 100% during a sync process... then sat at the 100% mark as about 50 or 60 more songs transferred! needless to say, this meant my emplode software estimated the job would be complete nearly an hour before it really was.

this visual just kinda had me delayed longer than i thought it would. it didn't obviously change the total time the sync process took, but it gave me a false sense of hope when the first 20 or 30 songs showed the progress bar speeding along from left to right.

does anyone else's emplode misrepresent the time to completion? it wouldn't be so disorienting, but there's no other progress indicator like a file list or percentage printout.

It's tricky to get those progress bars programmed right, but it shouldn't be off by 50-60 whole songs.

How many songs total were being transferred?

maybe 80 or 90.

That's not a lot. That's only ten albums or so. That's nothing, some have done entire collections (10+gigs) in a single synch.

Questions:

1) Can you reproduce the problem by deleting those songs, synching, and then uploading them a second time?

2) If so, can you check it with player 1.03-beta6, and emplode 1.03-beta3, and see if the problem goes away?
