I guess it's about time too book a ticket for traveling to the manchester meet, before the prices will get higher. (Just noticed the price is already 8€ more then last time i checked
Cheapest for me now is Easyjet: Amsterdam to Liverpool mo-fr at €78.82 (Pretty strange that kayak.com says $142, that's a bit more)
Any advice? Or should i just go ahead and fly with easyjet? Any coupon codes? The ones at http://www.retailmenot.com/view/easyjet.com won't work :P
Is the train connection to manchester any good and not to pricey?

I think going with Jet2 and flying straight to Manchester maybe the best option, there is a regular shuttle train from the airport to the city centre (Manchester Piccadilly Train Station) and the meet is based only a short walk from there.

I have just checked the prices and it's around €120, I think that is pretty good. Certainly the easiest option, I am not sure what the public transport links are like at Liverpool Airport.

Cheers

Cris.

There is a bus service from Liverpool airport to Manchester, however I would personally chose to fly into Manchester as it's much easier to get into the city from there.

What, the meet place is known? Did I miss something? What about the hotel? Is there a recommended hotel like in Cambridge?

Thanks,
Pim

All in good time

The venue is booked, we are just putting the sign up for together (later this week!) and trying to get the costs tied down.

Cheers

I may be up for collecting up to 3 people from Stanstead and driving up to Manchester from Cambridge.... let me know if there is interest.
