bodybag addict Registered: 07/03/2002 Posts: 504 Loc: Southern California	I can't get to the FAQ right now for some reason. can some one give me the proper hyperterminal commands to make the player rebuild it's own databases manually? I know it's something like: rw rwm rm /drive0/var/database rm /drive0/var/database3 rm /drive0/var/playlists rm /drive0/tags then same for drive 1 them exit let player restart q ro exit I think that's it, but could someone verify before I screw my player up. _________________________ Bodybag - So Cal Not a Whiner any more!!!

tfabris carpal tunnel Registered: 20/12/1999 Posts: 31584 Loc: Seattle, WA	Also, a lot of times, when you are in a position that the databases need to be rebuilt by hand, you are probably in need of a manual FSCK, too. Search the BBS for E2FSCK and see if you can find the thread that originated the FAQ entry. _________________________ Tony Fabris
