Can any of the tuner modules cover the Japanese 76-90MHz FM band?
This would be quite useful for people in North America to listen to audio on Television Channels.
CH 6 audio is on 87.75 MHz
CH 5 is on 81.75 MHz
CH 4 is on 71.75 MHz
CH 3 is on 65.75MHz
CH 2 is on 59.75 MHz

108 to 138MHz is used for aircraft navigation and NOAA Weather transmissions.

CH 7 at 179.75 MHz is pushing it.

For FM mode, the bottom end is 87.9Mhz (or maybe 87.5Mhz), and the top side is 107.5Mhz (or possibly 108Mhz)..

Some of the PCATS modules *may* have "weatherband" capability, at 162.475Mhz. There is also a microscopic chance that some of these may also have Japanese FM capability (part numbers 3x0194, 3x0195).

where is the part number listed? with my luck it's inside the enclosure. and my tuner is velcroed to the inside of my dash. if any of the hardware can support out of band operation how does someone tune to the non broadcast frequencies? at this point it almost seems like it would be easier to hack a scanner in place of a tuner module.

FM band goes to at least 107.9MHz. We have a station here that's 107.7MHz
