I am trying to create an application using Access 2003. I think the crux of my problem is that I never used Access at all, much less programming anything for it. Because of my newness to the application, my whole way of thinking is completely wrong it looks like (which probably isn't surprising to a lot of people). I was able to teach myself VBA for Excel fairly easily with the 'Record Macro' function that converted what you did in the spreadsheet to code, but Access doesn't include anything like that.

Does anybody have any recommended reading - books or websites - that might be some help? I think part of the problem is that I'm so lost, I'm not even sure how to search for the answers properly As such, seemingly simple things (such as waiting for a form to be completed before the program execution continues) is eluding me.
