I played this recently under an emulator, and even though I didn't consciously remember what order I always did the first screen in, I did it in that order anyway, and every sound effect was like a note falling perfectly into place in a tune I'd long forgotten.
How did the levels go again? Chickens, big chicken, chickens and big chicken, double chickens? I have a feeling I once passed double chickens and got into double chickens and big chicken, but was then comprehensively wiped out. Or I might be misremembering, I was a child then and it was an earlier age of the world. I do remember someone published a hack letting you start on any level, thus disproving the legend of double big chickens.
