I just purchased and received another Empeg Mk2 player from a very generous member here. This unit, although it functions great and sounds great, the right hand side knob seems to have a more pronounced 'clicking' feel/sound when turned, compared to my old one. Has anyone had or heard of this 'condition'? My main player has a farily smooth action with only a slight 'feel' of a click when rotated. Just wondering.

Was your old player a Mk2a and this one a Mk2 by chance? The Mk2 encoder is much more clicky than the Mk2a encoder.
