Do you find something wrong with this:
An 8-year old Californian pelters an 11-year old with water baloons, she returns with a stone (cutting the boy's forehead slightly). Police intervenes with three patrol cars and a helicopter, but the girl "
escapes jail time on an assault with a deadly weapon charge" when lawyers reached a deal that only adds six months of "
informal probation" to "
five days in juvenile hall and a month under house arrest"...
Well, when I was a kid, this would result in a bit of tongue-lashing and, perhaps, a week without ice-cream or something, provided, of course, that parents of any party
did find out about the incident in the first place.
