In case you have not seen it, the President has a new iPod... I wonder if the RIAA will sue him next...

Ok, that was kind of a strange article. At first it seems they criticize him for having music about drinking, chasing women, and (shock!) people who campaigned against him, and then it knocks him for not having music by anyone who’s gay and only having one song by a woman. Maybe he’s just listening to the music he likes?

It was not my intent to start a bashing thread. I was just amused by the fact that he has an iPod at all! And also wondering what the RIAA would have to say about it. The BBC version of the article is less analytical in the music styles, but has random comments in it.

I can almost see the iPod add - with the black cutout / white headphone cord coming down from Air Force One, dignitaries and flags all around.

Think of the amusing resume item - ripper/encoder for the Prez.

As to what the president should listen to, there are oh so many amusing choices...
