Today my Empeg has begun to play tracks at the start after the player has been turned off and turned back on. For example if I was listening to Led Zeppelin's Ten Years Gone and I turn off the Empeg at 3 minutes into the song when I turn the Empeg on again Ten Years Gone starts at the begining it does't start where it was stopped and I can't seem to find out why this is. Thanks in advance.

I have noticed this behavior myself, as well. I've been running 3alpha8 for a little while now. It tends to happen mostly on Ogg Vorbis files I've loaded onto the player. I have found that if I pause playback several seconds before I shut off the car or unplug the player, that it can resume where it *really* left off when it powers up again.
