Hi,

My main server runs Debian Sarge, and uses Postfix as the outgoing MTA. Right now, it directly transfers mail to whatever the destination, but I need to change that slightly.

When sending mail using my mlord @ poxbox dot com address, I would like to have postfix automatically connect to pobox.com and send it via their servers after authenticating (they allow this). For outgoing mail from any sender other than my pobox.com ID, I'd like postfix to just do as it does now.

How do I set this up? (I really haven't looked at all yet.. too busy).

Cheers

Wietse describes sender-based relaying in Postfix. Seems to utilize transport maps. Hope that helps. Of course, that doesn't mention how to authenticate to the relay host.
