I'd like to cast my vote to have Mark's username title changed from Carpal Tunnel to Hijack Master or something similar.
Drakino what do you think?

sounds good to me, Or maybe the "HighwayMan" or some other slang for hijack.

Quote:

I was a highwayman. Along the coach roads I did ride
With sword and pistol by my side
Many a young maid lost her baubles to my trade
Many a soldier shed his lifeblood on my blade
The bastards hung me in the spring of twenty-five
But I am still alive.

Quote:

Alas he was the highwayman
The one that comes and goes
And only the highway-woman
Keeps up with the likes of those
And she in all her magic
With hands as quick as light
Took him to be a challenge
And went into the night

I dunno - getting Mark's name attached to Highwayman might just add to any issues he has when travelling in the US. Wasn't 'hijack' bad enough

Yeah, I don't really need any more trouble than I already have from that stupic CAPS/CAPS-II computer system down there. My resume usually just says "kernel hacker" or some such thing.

Cheers

Really? You had problems just cause of a project name that was politically sensitive?

Well now when you google "hijack" you don't see Mark's hijack until page 2. It used to be page 1.

Well, something must have gotten me onto the "bad guys" list. And my history/resume are squeaky clean except for this subversive little hijacking habit of mine..

I'm white, married, have the right passports and visa (yes, a visa for the USA, even though I'm a Canadian born Canadian citizen with Canadian born Canadian parents... back about six generations).

Folks south of the border here are really paranoid now. I feel quite sorry for that lot. They're going to implode from it all eventually.

Cheers

If its causing you problems why dont you change the name? or change a character in it to a special character just so it doesnt pop up on the system as that word? like H!jack or Hij@ck or even Hija(k. Im sure someone else could come up with a more inventive way of doing it just throwing a couple quick examples of what i ment.

Oh and I throw my vote in for his nick being changed to Almighty Linux Guru .

I can't dispute the paranoia.

I suspect there is a lot of shoddy computer search compilation being substituted as investigation, with no eyeballs really looking at the results.

Another person that probably (sadly) just popped up on the FBI's radar - Donato (ricin). Is Fairfield, CA near Irvine?

That'll work, Just put so many x-refs into circulation that the data mining becomes obviously useless.

Except there will always be somebody thinks they can seperate the G from the IGO, and sombody else that will belive it worked.
