For those of you arriving for the meet who may want to cycle into town/around the area, there is the possibility to hire ladies and gents bicycles. This is roughly E6 per day. However, I will need a rough idea of numbers to ensure there's enough available on the day.

Could those interested in bike hire let me know on empeg_meet_2004@xs4all.nl with an indication of your height and sex.

It's tempting, but what with meets and beer shops I don't think I'd get the time. I did look into cycling to the meet this year -- Cambridge to Harwich and Hook to Amersfoort are both doable days' runs -- but the ferries weren't at sensible times, and they don't take bicycles on the overnight ones.

Damn unfortunate word wrap. I was skimming the post really fast and saw "hire ladies", and saw that the word "sex" ended up wrapped on a line by itself. And something in my brain clicked about Amsterdam and there was this brief cognitive train wreck...

In IM, Rob tells me he thinks there's probably a web site for it and everything.

Slight correction: it's E7 per day, maximum of 6 bikes. First come, first served...
