I am posting here in desperation. I am looking for 2 battery caps that screw in. I have attached a picture showing what I am looking for. Nobody seems to be able to help me. My battery works fine and I don't want to spend the $$$ to buy a new one when all I need are a couple of caps. I almost had a couple from Wal-Mart but my conscience kept me from taking them all the way out of the batteries on the shelf.

I have tried everywhere I can think of, nobody carries these things. All the old batteries people have with caps in the are push in style and are not threaded.

Please help me if you can...

Have you tried the battery manufacturer? The name should be moulded or printed on it somewhere. They might be able to post you some.

The other option is a battery recycling company or a place that takes batteries for recycling.

I just contacted Yuasa via their contact page. I don't know why I didn't think of that one before. Hopefully they'll be able to help me out.

Would you believe there are no battery recyclers around this area?

Ok, got 4 from one of the batteries in the recycle container - there were a buch with the press-fit style caps, but only one with the screw-type...
