On my suspicious spare empeg which I am testing, the IDE header looks like it has barely enough solder to hold it in place. It's not as bad as the faq entry on dry solder joints but it seems pretty bad. I've attached a pic.

Could this cause any intermittent problems now or may it weaken (dry) and cause problems in the future? If so, should I get little bits of solder added to each pin? Thanks.

Well, my empeg worked for almost two years before it had the dry joints problem. If your empeg's joints don't look perfectly soldered, I would definitely add more solder if you have the chance to, just in case time, vibrations, temperature change may eventually break the joints. I don't think that's going to hurt, anyway.

I personally would like them all to look like the pin on the far left in your photo.
