I am constantly amazed at the speed at which these things travel across the net. This is the third time I've seen it in 2 days, all from people that have never heard of each other.

It is, however, exceedingly funny!

That car looks cool why can't ford sell that one in the USA instead of the ugly focus.

The Focus isn't ugly when it doesn't have that stupid extended rear fender that it gains in the US or the awful saloon version which seems to be very popular there too.

Non-US version:

US version:

Anyway, the Ka is far, far smaller than the Focus.

The Ford Ka is one of the most disgusting looking cars I've ever seen. Its never grown on me at all. Is the Focus in the US the same style as we have in UK?

Edit: Just noticed Andy's post. The US Focus looks like an old Honda. The UK one did grow on me, although I found it ugly to begin with.

The US Focus looks like an old Honda

Those pictures are a little misleading, the only different (that I am aware of) between the US and UK Focus is the fenders (bumpers). The reasons those two pictures look so different is that one is the three door and the other the five door.

The three door does have a bit of a Civic look about it...

Daihatsu Copen. Almost a foot shorter, 8in narrower, and has SLK-esque power roof. Nice.

One thing with the Ka is that the name only seems to work in Endland
Ka is pronounced "Kar" there. The naming thing doesn't work if it is pronounced any differently.

As nice as it is, it's a girls car, as is the Audi TT. (Donns flameproof suit)...

Alright, so I sold my AudiTT after just over a year, it was just about the worst car I ever owned - totally lacking in feel, speaking of which I'm only just getting the feeling back in my bum from that suspension and it was like getting into the dark of a letter box each morning and looking out through the slit.

Moral of tale: Don't order a car from the photos, try before you buy.

I have to say that Ka convertible is about the most ill proportioned car to ever come from a major manufacturer - it looks like a kit car conversion - with the possible exception of the Mini convertible, the Silver Cross pram.

It would seem that's pretty accurate. My girlfriend's family owns a TT convertible, and it is certainly not made for me. I can barely fit in the passenger seat, and when I drove it once it was incredibly uncomfortable.

That's a great description of what it's like, Boxer. It wasn't even much better with the roof down

New "evil twin" advert making waves here. This one was rejected by Ford but was "leaked" by the agency, the same as the Nokia advert with the cat spinning from the ceiling fan.

Unfortunately a cat gets it *again* this time!

http://www.viralmeister.com/movies/EvilTwinCat.mpg

It's a bit gross for anybody that likes cats, but I can see where they were coming from, and it is amusing to a certain extent (assuming the cat is CGI!)

It's been going around, but it was in the Daily Mail a couple of days ago - I think they referred to it as "sick" and had quotes from the RSPCA and Cats Protection etc.

I'm not sure why anyone would think that that would sell a car, regardless of any animal cruelty issues.

You'll probably like Happy Tree Friends then, if you haven't seen them before:

http://www.happytreefriends.com/

They used to have "Smoochies" too, but you need to buy the DVD now. They were a little popup with a character and three buttons which killed them in some unique way.

I've got the DVD. It scares my friends when they see the cute video on my shelf. Then I pop it in and it worries them.
