Man I feel stupid, I just can't seem to get this WS_FTP sync working properly. Basically, when using the sychronize tool in WS_FTP, it always trys to re-write ALL the information on my "slave" player. I can sync my master player to my PC with no problem, but when I sync my PC to my slave player, it re-writes all the fids again. Anyone have any insight that could help me on this one?

Tell it to ignore timestamps.. the clocks are probably different between the empeg and the PC.

If I tell it to ignore timestamps, will it still be able to recognize small changes I've made to previously existing files (ie, artist corrections, etc)?

Messed with all the settings I can find that control timezones, timestamps, file time, etc and still I'm having no luck. The only way I can make the sync operation in WS_FTP not try to re-write the entire player is to tell it to transfer only files that exist on the PC and not on the player. Unfortunately, this does not properly sync the player because it doesn't update playlists, changes to existing files, etc... It also needs to ba able to sync files that are newer on the PC in order to properly arrange playlists and other changes.
