Another classic tonight...

Powell: The coalition is close to complete control of Iraq. The people of Iraq are close to liberation.

What part of CONTROL (by an outside force esp) implies "liberation" or freedom for that matter?

I'm starting to think G Dubya (Pres. Bush (aka Alfred.E.Newman)) is going to appoint his father as future president of Iraq. Now wouldn't that be something?

I'm really hoping for a quick resolution and though I'm against he war (because of the complete load of bullshit being fed to the world by Bush), I very much support the personnel currently working/fighting there and wish them all well.

Now if only they'd mount an assault on Washington when they're done in Iraq. But I suppose Bush will just order they stay and re-build the country as a launching platform to take on Syria or Iran next. Ah, what a wonderful Republican Empire.
