How old? What DOS version?

Can't find it on my oooold DOS 5.0 install disks... 6.22 version seems to be available from Microsoft at ftp.microsoft.com/Softlib/mslfiles/stepup.exe

Thanks for replying, I downloaded that file, and it didn't seem to work. I guess any version as long as it runs from dos, I tried copying windows versions, but they do not work.

If i'm not mistaken, DOS didn't include a defrag utility until 6.22. We used Norton System Utils before then. Then again, it's been years, and my memory is fuzzy.
