Ok, so I've been away from the BBS for a while. In trying to read the posts I missed, there's yn0t, ricin, and a bunch of others talking about LRC files and stuff. So, like a bad BBS member, I am unable to spend the time to read through the entire BBS trying to find info on it.

Is there a central resource for LRC info and info on emphasis (or whatever it is)? I'd like to get the overview and current status of the project so I could jump in and contribute some lyrics.

Would sites like lrcdb.org have this info? Also, will these sites host a list of WHO is working on WHAT albums so we don't duplicate work?

Any suggested links would be appreciated. Sorry I'm being lazy, but it's more that I'm overwhelmed. Thanks all.

well currently we are posting them to an ftp site untill the lrcdb is finished. Currently ynot is working on application for the lrc stuff on the empeg and on your computer. Ricin and Myself (and one new guy, that i just found out about last nite) are currently working hard on gettting the lrcdb up and running by hopefully next weekend, it turned into alot more work than we expected. We are going to have the lrcdb forums up and running sometime this week, which we will have request, and people who are currently working on albums and what not. But if you wish feel free to start a topic now to tell people what albums you are working on, and post will follow im sure.

Great, thanks for the info. I'll keep my eye on lrcdb.org for all the info (including info on the empeg app, i hope).

As for who's doing what albums, it seems like the bulk of it is in this thread so I'd better just leave it there.

Well, it was originally. However, when I saw this thread and noticed that people might try the other TLD's, I decided to go ahead and register them. It keeps other people from taking them and making a clone of our site. So, now lrcdb.org and lrcdb.net will be aliases for lrcdb.com, whenever the changes take effect.

damn it ricin were teammates and you dont inform me of this stuff.. hehe now i look like a jack ass
