Hmm, now I'm wondering what error message you might have seen. I can't remember if it's one of my rewrites, or the actual origional error.

It goes on to say "this is not necessarily an error", but given that it didn't take the post, I think it lied.

Blazer uses a proxy, but Eudoraweb, as far as I know, does not.

Ahh, this part This can be caused by firewall software. is mine after a few people e-mailed me about it. It's a cookie problem in most cases, and I discovered certain firewall software may block cookies.

Guess I should go back and clarify it.

I suppose I could look, but how does logging in work at all if I don't have any cookies? Because, well, I was logged in.

I'm pretty sure you should have had a massive PHP session ID in your URL if cookies are disabled (or not supported). I haven't dug much into it, because if I spend too much time in the BBS code, I'd go insane.

I hope newer versions get better towards the cookie voodoo.
