Is there any way to get individual playlists to play in the playlist order when inserted into an existing playlist? I like to play all of the files on my player randomly, but also like to insert albums organized into separate playlists while playing the player contents randomly. However, it would be nice if the inserted playlists would play in the unshuffled order and then resume shuffling after being played. Is this possible? If there were a "never play randomly" check box for playlists, that would be handy.

When using the "Least Recently Played" version of the shuffle, I have no qualms about unshuffling and then inserting an album to listen to the album, then shuffling again when the album is over.

Logic is like this:

If I was listening to the player randomized, then I didn't know what was gonna come up next anyway. So when I reshuffle after the album was done, who cares if it's a different shuffle than before? It will still be the Least Recently Played stuff.

Even better would be to have an additional option in defining the playlists in emplode: "Never Randomize". (This would complement the three options already there: "Always Randomize"; "Automatically Repeat"; and "Ignore as Child.")

And while we're at it, how about an additional shuffle option in the player: Shuffle by "Most Often Played". This would generate dynamic playlists of favorites, regardless of which playlist you were in.

Yeah, I'd really like a 'Never randomize' option too - at the moment the only options for dealing with dance mixes and the like are to either flag them all 'Ignore as Child' or to accept random mid-mix tracks appearing in the running order, neither of which are ideal. I'd really like it if the empeg, as part of a down/down/down shuffle, could present such albums in order - that way I could decide at the first track whether I wanted to listen to the mix or not.
On a subnote, it would also be cool if the right button on the front panel could somehow have the 'hate source' function asigned to it in such circumstances, so that 2 quick presses would skip the whole mix. But how to make that work cohesively could be an interesting technical challenge...

Another option is to use a bookmark to save your current position, then Replace rather than Insert. Unless you're already using all of your near-infinite supply of bookmarks, of course...
