sometime my player just Frezzes while the "W" is in the corner window. I reboot it and it says there is no hardisk then I try few times and after a while it will go back on.
Hard disk is new IBM 40 gb. when I got to serial this is what it does when

It could mean that your hard drive is going bad, or it could mean that the IDE cable is bad. There's a known manufacturing defect with some of the IDE cables that were sent out that's not visible. So if you haven't already gotten it replaced, contact support about it.
