Anyone who knows how I can download anything into spesific memory addreses like the logos specified in the Beta12b readme???

You want the "download.c" source. I *think* this is on the developers site.

Compile it up, then run it with "download a000" to put an image into flash. We were expecting that someone will probably roll a format converter and the downloader source into an easy app - unfortunately, it's something we've not got time to do ourselves...

It's just ocurred to me that the download.c on our website only works with mk1 players (mk2 have a slightly different flash which needs block lock/unlock commands).

I've got this new source, I'll try and get it on the website later today.

OK, was it just changed now, because the text on the webpage says that the code has been modified for MKII.

Err.. The download.c on empeg web-site is the one than works with Mk1 & Mk2 and has those lock/unlock commands. It has been there for atleast two weeks now

Whoa, I go away for a couple of days and you guys implement this while I'm not looking. And here I am, away from home on a strange computer without my serial cable and no way to install this new kernel.

To Hugo, Mike, and whoever else implemented this... that's SOOO cool! THANK YOU!

PS: Bobo's got a format converter already, assuming that it's the same format as the previous versions... talk to him about rolling a converter/downloader into one "logomaker" app.
