Mozilla 1.1 is out the door today. Here is the whats new, and download links. For anyone still using IE, and tired of all the popups, it's well worth a download.

I don't know whose fault it is (site designer or browser) but it still can't render MSNBC front page properly. Also, the spiffy MSNBC menu plugin isn't offering to download. That's the only thing that keeps me from using it all the time.

Browsing the page though, it seems fine to me. A few empty spaces from where my ad blocking is kicking in.

Then again my main source of news has been from the BBC lately. They had the best 9/11 coverage, and I have kept going back. (And I'm buying UK based Motorcycle magazines now too, hmm... )

Yeah, I know...I'm no microsoft lover...I just like the news menu. I can scan more headlines in more categories faster than anything else I've found. If you know of something better, I'm open to suggestions.

Not knowing how the menu plugin works, I can only show what I see as a feature in Mozilla. Check out the attached screenshot for a news sidebar run off CNN. (There are several other sites as well that do these).

Drudging up an old thread from forever ago....I just installed Mozilla 1.4 tonight. Looks like they finally got MSNBC to format correctly. Not sure which version that happened on, but it was somewhere between 1.2 and 1.4. That was the last site that I browse regularly that it couldn't handle. As of now, I am switching to Mozilla for my primary browser. Not that anyone gives a rats arse, but since I made the effort to complain about it a long time ago, I figured it'd only be fair to commend them for their progress.
