I have a question that I don't see answered other places (incl. the drive upgrade guide).

I have a 2nd empeg as a backup unit. I'm moving it's disk (20GB model) into my primary MKII as a secondary drive, leaving my primary MKII drive alone. What, if any disk prep do I have to do on this disk? I know it's formatted but are the partitions already on it OK to use as-is? I'd love to save the effort of disconnecting my primary drive to run Disk Builder on it if it's not needed. Thanks.

I would recommend putting the same version of the software on the second disk as what you're running on the first one. And make sure it doesn't have any music files on it. Other than that, you're fine.

Let me be sure I get this 100% - I simply install the disk by itself first (I've already taken it out of the backup unit) apply Beta 13 (which I'm running) then put it the secondary spot (with appropriate master/slave jumper). Sound right?
