My Empeg was dropped(only about a foot) a couple of weeks ago. Here are the symtoms:

When plugged in at home or in the car with the harddrives connected, the LED's flash quickly and go out. Both front and back.

When plugged in with the drives disconnected, the LED's pulse like normal.

The nipple on the screen is fine, and all the wiring seems secure. I have checked the ribbon cable and that seems good.

I did notice the inside red LED does not light at any time. Should it?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't like the fact that the LEDs are going out... Have you contacted support yet?

Can you post a boot log, both with and without the disk drives. Also, the results of a self test (Ctrl-T) would be good as well.

In order to do Paul's suggestion of a "boot log", you might need to read the instructions here.
