My car has a single din and I'm thinking about installing the empeg in the din and my current head under the seat. The empeg has volume control, right? I'm wondering if there are any major problems with this setup I haven't thought of (mp3s are all I plan to listen to).
Thanks,
j

Other than... if you're going to go to that trouble, why not make it an ordinary amp under the seat?

no, no, do it right...
you'll kick yourself later.
REALLY think about what you're doing....
some short money can get you a hell of a lot more amp that the head you've got.
REALLY think to yourself if you want to put the head under the sear....
Lotsa wiring, kind of a hack...
but hey if you like it ... go for it.

Amp under the seat - usually much easier to bolt down. Head would need a fair bit of faffing to get it solidly fixed and connected.

Also amps are usually designed to be hidden away - head units usually need buttons to be pressed etc.
