tigloo member Registered: 25/04/2001 Posts: 122 Loc: Hamburg, Germany	Ok, after a bit of fiddling I put the Debian image on the Empeg and am now running it as chroot'ed environment. However, to be any useful, I need to do a dist-upgrade over the network and install packages the same way. The only kernel I found to support PPP was a very old one... are there any newer kernels out there with PPP support compiled in? Is it safe to install one of the old kernels that have PPP support? Till
