My sister has this 2003 Volvo XC70 (wagon) with about 54k miles which she replaced last year with a 2004 XC70.
We just bought a 2002 Volvo S80 at the local dealership, but we looked at a few XC70s for comparison and test drove and priced them. One was a 2003 model with about the same milage as the one you are trying to sell, and we haggled down to $23.5k for a certified pre-owned XC70. Looking at Cars.com it was an average price, but the dealership would not budge on it because they sell fairly quickly. You would probably have to ask less than that price for a private sale (with no warranty) for a car in the same condition.
This probably would not work for you, but I am going to clean up our old car (95 Nissan Pathfinder), stick a for sale sign in the window with a low blue book price and park it at Wal-Mart on a busy, sunny weekend. The difference is the price, since I don't think there would be a lot of prospective XC70 owners at Wal-Mart who don't already have one.
