So many of woods are fake but painted by these decorators in Trompe L'Oeil. Marbles and so on ... (did you notice that Mark ?)

We noticed some overt Tompe L'Oeil, and a large number of chairs had fake lime finishes on them, but didn't really look much closer. The place was Sooooo crowded and noisy with masses of visitors. That's why I mostly just photographed ceilings at Versailles -- fewer people in the way of those than the wall paintings and stuff.
