Foreword:
I got my tunerkit at Saturday and my soldering iron has been turned on after a long time. When I've seen those many parts I thought it would be hard but the idiot-proof installation guide was perfect, even for me :-). I really didn't expect my tuner to work after the first plug in into my car's sled (couldn't test inhouse). It works! Happy for three I switched around and got some stations tuned in.

Question:
I searched for TMC but couldn't find a posting telling that's possible. In Germany you can use TMC, a subset of the RDS-System, to get information about traffic jam. But it looks like it is not implemented, but I'm sure I've read an article telling exactly this. Maybe it's in the 3rd Version of the player software...

Anybody out there who can tell me if TMC is supported or will be supported? Is it possible to get info from e.g. /dev/rds?

What's the easiest way to switch between tuner and mp3?
