Just in the mood :

- Usable on Any Java Enabled OS ...
- Logo Editor
- Boot anim Editor
- Update of Hijack
- AutoUpdate of Jemplode (I hope soon ...)

Sorry Mike for all I have forgotten ....

The other guys listed a bunch -- here are some additional things:

1) download w/ playlist directories
2) download filename with variable replacement (i.e. {title}-{tracknr}-{artist}.mp3)
3) Layered soup playlist (By Artist then By Album)
4) Colorized dirty nodes
5) Search for containers (i.e. find all playlist that CONTAIN matches, rather than the matches themselves -- for finding all the playlists that contain a certain tune)
6) Download w/ Hijack (much faster than Empeg protocol download)
7) Variable replacement playlist directories {genre}/{title}.mp3 (for downloads from the soup)
8) Internationalized sorting + Sort articles in the back ("The Birds" sorts as "Birds, The") -- I don't think Emplode does this? (maybe does i18n sorting)
9) Faster release cycle

Those are the things from the release notes anyway ... I'm sure there are other little things.

Maybe a stupid question, but does JEmplode run on windows? Or is it for the Mac?

Mac/Linux/Windows/whatever - Java is platform independent, right?

Yes, it works in Windows too.

I figured as much. I don't know jack s**t about programming so I don't pretend to.
But I do remember reading something about Java in a mag once and how it was platform independent. That was just a long time ago.
I guess I'll give it a try then!

Thanks!

If you are using Windows XP you will have to have a Java VM installed to be able to open the .jar files that Jemplode uses. Earlier version of windows should have this already installed.

I was just about to make this point. Win XP shipped without a Java VM adn that is why Sun filed a $1 billion anti-trust suit of thier own.

Luckily finding and donwloading a Java VM is easy to do...at least it should be for the people in this forum.
