My empeg had recently broek and I was debating on whether or not I was going to fix it or buy a new Alpine stereo and an iPod. However, there were a couple of things that made me stick with the empeg (also, it is the greatest mp3 player ever made.) First and foremost, something really simple: the ability to insert a song directly after the one that is playing. It is such a elegantly simple idea that I haven't seen anywhere else (awhile back iTunes finally had it with the "Party Shuffle" mode, but for some strange reason doesn't put it on the iPod.)
