Append to playlist with Hijack?

Append to playlist with Hijack? - 04/10/2002 14:07

Every day I use Hijack and the web interface to stream music to WinAmp on my pc. Is there any way that I can set it up so that when I click Stream it will ADD to the playlist instead of replacing it with the new selection? It would be cool to surf around for 2-3 mins, pick out my stuff I want and have it all streamed to WinAmp just as I picked it.

If its not possible now, could a new column be added to the Hijack list that allows us to append it to the playlist instead of just playing it right then?

Thanks for any info anyone might have.

You can get the same result if you drag the link fom the Hijack generated page to the playlist window of Winamp. I know it's not quite as easy as just clicking a link but it'll do you for now.

In the winamp's preferences, in "setup" -> "file types", you can check "enqueue as default action".

When you check this Winamp will ALWAYS enqueue your selection, instead of starting to play it.
(disclaimer : I don't know if this is still so in winamp 3.0 because I still use 2.x)
