I'm in Philly for work but will be free early 3:30ish Monday and Tuesday. What should I do? I'm thinking about going to see the Liberty bell. I would also like recommendations for food. I like Sushi but not fish. I prefer local places over chains but if the chain isn't in Florida then I'm willing to give it a try.

The science museum (Franklin Institute) is very good. If you haven't been to Philadelphia before, you should get a cheesesteak from Jim's on South Street (or Pat's or Geno's, but they're in a less-nice area). You can see plenty enough Liberty Bell for me through the windows of the Liberty Bell Experience, without actually going in. You should also run up the steps of the Museum of Art, even if you're not going to go in (but going in's pretty good too).

Nonsense! That part of South Philly, while not as touristy, is at least as safe and clean as South Street. Pat's also has much better steaks than Jim's (IMNSHO), but the best steaks in the world are at Tony Luke's which is at Front & Oregon streets.

That's a challenge, but if you want to spend the big bucks on quality sushi (and don't mind raising the chef's eyebrows when you say you don't like fish), then the obvious destination is Morimoto.

It's too bad the Salvador Dali exhibit is sold out, even with its extended dates. It really was fantastic. But with the Dali museum down in Florida (where I guess you're from), you may have seen your share of his work.

/me votes for Pat's "one cheese wiz with"

Or, "whiz wit" in true Philly parlance.

Thank you everyone for recommendations. I ended up going to Jim's, Pat's and Geno's and having a cheese steak from each place with cheese wiz, green peppers and mushrooms ( I'm allergic to onions) and I would say Pat's was the best. I think Jim's had better mushrooms and Geno's had better green peppers. I didn't get to do anything else since the other person I was with wasn't finished until 5:30 and we had to travel about 30 minutes to get into Philly.
